AAA-NORCAP closes - 14/2/13
BAAF is sorry to learn that AAA-NORCAP has gone into administration and ceased trading after many years of supporting and providing services to adoption adults, birth relatives and others affected by adoption.
 
Post adoption support services survey report published - 22/1/13
BAAF has published the findings of a survey of agencies in England and Wales who provide post adoption support services to adopted adults and birth relatives.
 
Adoption Contact Register Changes in England and Wales - 15/10/12
As of 15th October 2012, the General Register Office for England and Wales has a new policy regarding the Adoption Contact Register. This allows birth relatives who are seeking to apply for entry onto Part 2 of the register to make an application based on declaration only, instead of having to provide documentary evidence of their relationship to an adopted person.

Adopted Adults Get Together on 19th November 2011 - 10/10/11
The Intercountry Adoption Centre (IAC) and the Transnational and Transracial Adoption Group (TTAG) have organised a get together for transnationally adopted adults and adopted or long-term fostered adults who are searching for relatives who may live in another country.
