Was originally the Cambridge branch of the National Adoption Society, which became the Adoption Society (or Adoption Society of the Church of England) when it split from the London branch in 1931. Then was known as the Church Adoption Society before becoming Childlink in 1990. Was the first adoption society after 1926 Act passed, about 1927.
