Tracing Guide Updated - 28/7/14

Our practical guide for adopted adults who are thinking of tracing their birth relatives has been updated.

The free guide explains how to find the information needed to start tracing a relative, makes recommendations about the best ways to make contact and considers the potential outcomes of a reunion. It is primarily aimed at people adopted in England but will be of interest to anyone considering tracing their birth relatives.

You can download the Tracing Guide as a PDF or read more about search and reunion in the Searching and Contact section of the ASR website.
